Lagos by day is a busy commercial centre. Shopping is an absolute delight with establishments catering for every taste and an abundance of little boutiques. At night, the town still retains its charm when the wide choice of bars and restaurants come alive, spilling out onto the streets and squares.

Meia Praia is one of the longest sandy beaches in Portugal, and whatever the time of year - it never appears to be crowded. There are several interesting beach bars and the food is excellent.
